Development and Optimization of Solid Dosage Form Technologies
Development and optimization of technologies for producing solid dosage forms—tablets, capsules, granules, and sachets. InterChem SLC is a co-founder and, since 2021, the owner of the Research and Development Laboratory for Solid Dosage Forms (R&D SDF Lab). The laboratory was designed and built in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards by the Czech company Block, certified under ISO 9001 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
The R&D SDF Lab is equipped with its air conditioning system, purified water system, and compressed air supply. All laboratory premises, systems, and equipment have successfully passed validation and qualification stages.
The InterChem SLC R&D SDF Laboratory performs contract-based research and development in full compliance with Ukrainian regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical development, including technological documentation standards.
Laboratory capabilities:

Development of solid dosage form compositions and production technologies using classical wet granulation, fluid bed granulation, direct compression, or dry granulation methods;

Development of coating processes for tablets using both fluid bed and perforated drum technologies;

Optimization of existing manufacturing technologies and transition to direct compression, using modern excipients from Meggle and other manufacturers—offering significant economic benefits through reduced processing time, lower labor costs, and fewer production stages;

Execution of pharmaco-technological testing during pharmaceutical development—including input material testing, intermediate product analysis, and finished product control in compliance with the European Pharmacopoeia and the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
